Welcome to our final interview of the first series of Leading in a Climate Changed World, from Olivier Mythodrama.
We’re going to take a break over the Christmas period but don’t worry, we will be back in January with a host of interviewees already lined up for our second series.
In our sixteenth episode, Robin speaks to Sandy Ibrahim, writer and author of ‘The Sovereign Woman’ (https://www.sandyibrahim.com/)
They discuss the qualities needed of everyone today, as we define our leadership in order to enter an era that will need us to be strong and to make significant sacrifices.
Sandy talks about the Myth of the goddess Inanna, who enters the underworld to find her sister, who must undertake a journey of self-realisation before being deemed guilty of hubris. She talks about how we can use this myth to realise how humanity must move forward.
They talk about how we must connect to nature to understand the situation, where ‘being seen to be doing good’ isn’t enough and how we need to realise more feminine leadership, if we want to challenge the current status quo.
For the final time in 2019, I’ll say over to Robin and Sandy.
See you in the new year.
